Mix the Damasco or Black Plum with lime juice and salt
Beat the egg whites, add sugar and beat for a little longer
Mix carefully into the fruit mixture and serve garnished with ground nuts
If desired and it's a cold day, you can pour the mixture with care onto a baking dish and bake in a moderate oven for 30 to 45 minutes.
