1 large coconut, grated

Prepare a syrup with the sugar and a little water
Add the cloves and cinnamon
Add the grated coconut
Cook over low heat, stirring occasionally until it starts to thicken
Beat the eggs slightly with a fork
Add a little of the coconut mixture
Stir well and add everything to the pan with the remaining coconut
Cook, stirring constantly until you reach the desired consistency
Serve cold in a compote dish
