In a bowl, beat the eggs for about a minute using a fork
Heat the skillet over medium heat with half the butter and pour in half the egg mixture

Gently mix the ingredients with a wooden spoon

When the omelet base starts to set, cover it with the cured ham
Use a spatula to fold the other part of the omelet
