Grease a rectangular or square baking dish well
Place the slices of cheese, one by one
Baste with the mustard
Cover with the slices of ham, which should be the same size as the cheese slices
Heat the oven to 200°C (hot)
Put the baking dish in the oven to warm up a bit
While this is happening, separate the yolks from the whites
Beat the yolks lightly with salt and black pepper to taste
Cover the yolks with these whites or place them on top by spoonfuls
