Mix the confectioner's sugar and butter in a bowl until you get a granular consistency
Add the shredded coconut, nuts or chestnuts, and vanilla, and mix well
Drain the cherries, chop them, and add them to the previous mixture
Form 6 "eggs" and refrigerate until they are well chilled
Melt the chocolate in a bain-marie and spread it over the eggs using a knife
Let it set outside the refrigerator for one day.
