Combine the aniseed and water to make a syrupy consistency
Blanch the aniseeds, remove the skin, and dry them thoroughly
Mince the aniseeds in a meat grinder
Place in a bowl and gradually add the syrup, mixing everything well
When well mixed, add the eggs one at a time, and mix well after each addition
Work the dough until it becomes very fine
Roll out on a marble surface to cool
Once cooled, shape into small balls with your hands (or rolls)
