Soak the raisins in warm water for four hours
Drain
and reserve
In a bowl mix together the pears, all-purpose flour, eggs, baking powder, salt, ground cinnamon, nutmeg, and cardamom
Add the oil gradually and combine with the flour and yeast, mixing well
Combine the raisins and warm water and mix
If needed, add more flour
Shape the cakes and brush with egg yolks
Bake in a preheated medium oven until golden brown.
