Mix well the sugar, butter, eggs, and vanilla
Add the banana syrup and mix thoroughly
Add the flour, salt, and baking soda and mix with a wooden spoon
Pour into an English muffin tin greased with butter and bake in a medium oven
Bake until a toothpick comes out clean.
