Ingredients:
1 envelope of dried active yeast or 1 tablet of instant yeast (15 g)
4 cups of all-purpose flour
1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon of salt
1 cup of water
1 egg
1/2 cup of melted butter
Filling:
4 onions, cut into rings
1/2 cup of melted butter
1 tablespoon of black pepper
1 teaspoon of alecrim

Preparation:
Dough:
Combine the yeast, flour, Parmesan cheese, salt, and water in a food processor
Beta and add the egg and melted butter
Process for a few more seconds and transfer to a floured surface
Shape into a ball of dough
Grease your hands with a little oil and shape into a ball
Let it rest for 45 minutes or until doubled in volume
Filling:
Caramelize the onions in melted butter, over low heat, for 30 minutes or until golden brown
Add the black pepper and stir until combined
Add the alecrim and mix well
Remove from heat and let it cool

Roll out the dough on a floured surface to form a rectangle, 30 x 35 cm

Fill with onions and roll up the dough tightly
Serving:
Cut the pie into slices of 2 cm thickness
Bake in a hot oven at 200°C for 35 minutes or until golden brown.
