1 fresh yeast tablet for cake
2 cups (each) of water
1/2 cup (each) of buttermilk
1 pinch of salt
1 beaten egg
1/4 cup (each) of butter
2 cups (each) of all-purpose flour
1 and 3/4 cups (each) of chocolate chips

Dissolve the yeast tablet in warm water
Combine buttermilk, butter, salt, and egg
Mix well
Add the flour gradually until a dough forms
Knead the dough and divide it into two parts
In one part, add the chocolate chips and knead until smooth
Cover the two parts with cloth and let them rise until they double in volume
Unfold the two doughs separately into rectangles and place one on top of the other
Gently roll them together and place them in an English-style cake pan dusted with flour
Let it rise for another 15 minutes and bake in a medium preheated oven.
