5 g of active dry yeast for bread (available at supermarkets)
1 cup of warm water
1 kg of wheat flour
3 eggs
4 yolks
2 whites
1 more cup and 2 tablespoons of grated carrot
220 g of melted butter
1 tablespoon of orange zest
2 cups of milk
1 and 1/2 cups of raisins
5 g of active dry yeast for bread (available at supermarkets)
1 cup of warm water
1 kg of wheat flour

Dissolve the yeast in warm water
Let it rest for 10 minutes
Combine 2 cups of flour, eggs , yolks, grated carrot, warm milk, and orange zest
Mix well
Add the remaining flour gradually until homogeneous
Knead the dough for approximately 5 minutes
Open the dough with your hands and spread 1/3 cup of melted butter on the bread dough
Massage delicately until all the butter is incorporated
Repeat the process two more times
Use the same method with raisins
Place the dough in a large greased bowl and turn it to coat the entire surface
Let it rest covered with a cloth until it doubles in volume
Return the dough to the floured surface and divide it into two equal parts
Transfer each one to an English muffin tin, grease it, and let it rest again for 30 minutes
Glaze with lightly beaten eggs and bake in a medium oven until golden brown
