Combine in a bowl 1 and 1/4 cups of all-purpose flour, sugar, salt, and yeast
Aquatic the milk and butter or margarine in a pan until the butter melts
Add to the flour mixture with the egg
Beat with an electric mixer for 2 minutes at high speed
Add 2 cups of all-purpose flour and mix with a wooden spoon until a smooth dough forms
Cover with a cloth and let rise until doubled in volume (about 45 to 60 minutes)
Deflate the dough
Mold into puffed pastry shapes, filling each one halfway
Cover and let rise for about 45 minutes
Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown
Make approximately 15 puffs.
