Pastry Dough
1 cup of water
1 cup of lard melted
4 teaspoons of baking powder
500 grams of all-purpose flour
1 egg
a pinch of salt
Fillling
3 cups of creamy sweet cream
To dust
Cinnamon in powdered form

Small pastry rings with 5 cm diameter (adjust as needed)

Pastry Dough

Mix the flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl
Add half of the melted lard and mix well
Add the egg, remaining lard, water, and mix until you get a homogeneous dough

Cover and let it rest for an hour at room temperature
Fillling
Heat the oven to medium temperature
Roll out the dough and shape into small pastry rings
Fill with sweet cream and bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown
Remove and dust with cinnamon.
