1 whole fish (namorado, tainha, etc.)
Stuffing

2 tablespoons of breadcrumbs
1/3 cup of melted butter or margarine
juice from 1/2 lemon
1 tablespoon of chopped fresh parsley

1/4 cup of diced pickles
small pieces of butter or margarine for topping the fish

Caramelize the onion and breadcrumbs in melted butter
Combine the remaining ingredients
Prepare the fish as shown, removing the spine and seasoning with salt and pepper inside and out
Stuff and tie with fine twine
Place in a baking dish coated with butter or margarine
Cover with small pieces of butter or margarine and bake in a moderate oven
If desired, brush with lemon juice before topping with butter or margarine
Remove the twine before serving
