4 large ripe pears (500 g), firm and tender

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C)
Cut out eight squares of parchment paper or aluminum foil, each measuring 10 inches on a side
Place two squares together and set aside. Reserve
Wash the pears in cold running water, scrubbing them gently
Using a small sharp knife, make a cut around the entire pear, lengthwise, to remove the core
Split the pears in half and separate them, using a fork or knife
Remove the core and set aside
Cut each half of the pear into four pieces and place them in a bowl
Add the remaining ingredients and mix well
Divide the mixture into four portions
Keeping the papers stacked, prepare the packages
Distribute the portions among them
Close the packages and arrange them on a baking sheet
Place the package in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes
Serve immediately in the same package

Note: If you prefer, substitute ground cardamom with equal amounts of ground cinnamon
Two ways to fold and cut the parchment paper or aluminum foil:
1) Fold the rectangle of paper in half lengthwise and cut it into a corona shape
Place the food on one half and fold the other half over it
Close the package by folding along the edge and bake in the oven
After baking, make a cut in X at the top of the package and open it by pushing away the points
2) Fold the square paper into two triangles
Place the food on one triangle and fold the other over it
Close the package by folding along the edges and bake in the oven
After baking, make a cut in Y at the top of the package and open it by pushing away the points.
