8 strawberry halves in syrup (450 g)
80 g of dark chocolate, cut into 8 equal pieces

In a 9-inch microwave-safe dish, mix well the sugar with the eggs until it's smooth
Add the cornstarch, milk, and vanilla extract and mix
Cover and microwave on high for 3 minutes, stirring every minute
If the mixture is not creamy yet, cook for a few more seconds in the same microwave setting
Place the strawberry halves over the cream with the cut side up
Arrange one piece of chocolate on top of each one, cover the dish and microwave on high for an additional 1 minute and 40 seconds
As the chocolate will still retain its shape, touch one of the pieces with a spoon to check if it's melted
Serve immediately
