In a small saucepan, bring to a boil over high heat with the jelly, stirring constantly until slightly thickened
Remove from heat and let cool
Serve individual portions: place some pear slices, 1 ball of ice cream, and a spoonful of jelly sauce in each one
Garnish with whipped heavy cream
