4 cups of spice vinegar (recipe follows)

Select white onions that are very small and peel them
Cover them with water, salt, and let them soak for 1 day
Drain the onions and dry them well
Place them in sterilized and heated glass jars
Pour the spice vinegar over the top and seal hermetically.
