1 pinch of black pepper
4 or 5 large green peppers, sliced into strips

Sauté the onion and garlic in hot olive oil until they're soft
Add the tomatoes and seasonings
Simmer without covering for about 20 minutes or until the sauce thickens slightly
Fry the pepper strips in olive oil, turning them frequently, until they're tender
Place in a serving dish and cover with the tomato sauce
Serve hot.
