1.5 kg of ground beef
3 French breadcrumbs
1 cup (ch) of milk
5 eggs
1 cup (ch) of chopped parsley
1 cup (ch) of finely chopped onions
3 cloves of minced garlic
1 tablespoon of all-purpose flour
1 and 1/2 cups (ch) of bread crumbs
300g of mozzarella cheese, sliced
4 cups (ch) of tomato sauce
Salt, black pepper, and grated cheddar to taste
Oil for frying

4 eggs beaten with 1 pinch of salt

Dampen the breadcrumbs in milk, drain, squeeze well and reserve
In a bowl, mix together the ground beef, eggs, reserved breadcrumbs, salt, parsley, onion, garlic, black pepper, and all-purpose flour
Mix well and add, gradually, the bread crumbs until it forms a ball
Shape 40 small discs with the mixture
Distribute mozzarella cheese in half of the meatballs and cover with the remaining half
Close the edges of the meatballs and coat them in all-purpose flour, egg wash, and bread crumbs twice for coating
Fry them in hot oil until golden brown on both sides
Transfer the fried meatballs to a pan and add tomato sauce
Cook over low heat for 10 minutes
Dust with grated cheddar and serve immediately.
