2 1/3 cups of wheat flour
1 cup of warm water
2 tablespoons of room temperature butter
1 tablespoon of sugar
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1 envelope of dry active baking yeast (10 g)

2 tablespoons of ground cinnamon

In a bowl, combine the warm water with the yeast and let it dissolve
Add the butter, sugar, salt, and flour and mix until homogeneous
Cover and let rest for 15 minutes
On a lightly floured surface, place the dough and divide it into 12 pieces
Shape each piece into a 45 cm long rope and form into pretzel shape
Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and let rest for 30 minutes
Preheat oven to high heat and bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown
Remove and brush with butter
Mix the sugar with cinnamon and dust
If desired, sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
