Combine the sugar and water in a small saucepan, stir, and bring to a boil

Pour the caramel into a 10x28cm form, covering the entire interior

Sift through a fine-mesh sieve along with the remaining orange juice and milk
Place the mixture into the prepared form
Remove any foam that forms on top and bake in a preheated oven with a water bath
The water bath should be at room temperature
Bake for 1 hour, or until the pudding is well golden brown when inserted with a toothpick
Remove from the oven and let it cool completely outside the water bath
