1/2 cup all-purpose flour sifted
3/4 cup cornstarch
2 tablespoons melted butter or margarine
3 well-beaten egg yolks
1/4 cup milk
1 1/2 cups grape juice
1 tablespoon lemon juice
3 egg whites
1/4 cup cornstarch
8 tablespoons strawberry jelly
1/2 cup all-purpose flour sifted

1 1/2 cups grape juice
1 tablespoon lemon juice
3 egg whites
1/4 cup cornstarch
8 tablespoons strawberry jelly
Combine flour and cornstarch
Add melted butter or margarine
Mix eggs with milk and add to mixture
Mix well
Add grape juice and lemon juice, mixing again
Beat egg whites until fluffy
Gradually add 1/4 cup cornstarch, beating constantly until stiff peaks form
Add to mixture and mix carefully
Place 1 tablespoon jelly at the bottom of individual ramekins
Fill with batter to 3/4 capacity
Place in a water bath
Bake in a moderate oven (300°F) for about 55 minutes
Let cool
Serve with whipped cream, if desired
