Combine the Whole Wheat Flour and All-Purpose Flour in a bowl
Add the butter and salt, gradually adding the water while kneading until a dough forms
Let the dough rest, covered, for 2 to 3 hours
Form balls about the size of a plum
Open each ball on a lightly floured surface to form a disk about 12 cm in diameter
Fry in hot vegetable oil until they expand and are golden brown
Puris are served as an accompaniment
