2 cups all-purpose flour

180g bittersweet chocolate
2/3 cup chopped walnuts or hazelnuts

Sift the flour and add the brown sugar and butter
Mix with two knives to form a crumbly mixture
Press this mixture into the bottom of an ungreased 9x13-inch baking dish
Bake in a moderate oven (170°C) for 25-28 minutes
Melt the chocolate and spread it quickly over the warm and baked mass
Sprinkle with chopped nuts, pressing gently to adhere to the chocolate
Cut into squares while still warm
Yield: 70 squares.
