4 cups of sugar
2 cups of water
2 tablespoons of cranberry sauce
2 2/3 cups of fresh shredded coconut

Mix in a saucepan the sugar, water, and cranberry sauce
Stir well to dissolve the sugar
Heat over low heat until it reaches a soft ball stage (about 35 minutes)
Add the coconut, stir well and cook for an additional 17 minutes, stirring occasionally, or until it separates from the bottom of the pan
Place in a greased baking dish 30 x 20 cm
Mark square shapes with a knife
Let cool and cut into squares
Yield: 35 units.
