1 Mix the sugar and cinnamon together and set aside
Soak the bread slices in milk, then dip them in the egg mixture
Heat a non-stick pan with butter or oil and fry three bread slices at a time until golden brown
Reduce heat to prevent burning and cook for another minute on both sides
2 Use a slotted spoon to remove the fried bread slices and drain on paper towels
Coat the bread slices in the sugar and cinnamon mixture
Arrange the slices on a serving dish
If desired, drizzle with wine before serving.
