3 tablespoons of butter or margarine
1 medium onion, finely chopped (1/2 cup)
1/2 cup of dried Damascus plums, cut into small pieces with scissors
1 tea tablet of chicken broth dissolved in water
1/3 cup of water
6 slices of white bread, cut into cubes (3 cups)
1/2 cup of pecans, finely chopped

In a frying pan with butter or margarine, cook the onion until it's soft
Add the Damascus plums and tea tablet of chicken broth dissolved in water
Let it simmer and then remove from heat
Combine the bread and pecans
Mix well to moisten
Use to fill poultry
Yield: 4 cups.
