In the evening, cut the bacon into thin strips and place it in a bowl
Cover with water and let it soak overnight
Drain the meat, put it in a pot, cover with water, and bring to a boil
Reduce heat and cook until tender
DRAIN AND RESERVE
Mince garlic and sauté half of it over medium heat with oil until golden
Add rice and stir-fry for a few minutes, stirring occasionally
Add coconut milk, water, salt, and mix
Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and cook until rice is tender
In a pan, heat oil, add sliced onions and remaining garlic until golden
Remove onion and reserve
Frying bacon slowly until golden
Add reserved onion and mix. RESERVE
Sauce
In a pan, fry onions in dendê oil
Add dried shrimp and stir-fry over low heat with the pan covered until tender
To serve, place rice on a serving dish, top with bacon, and to the side add the shrimp sauce
