Melt butter in a 26 x 41 cm baking dish and grease it well. Reserve
Bake the oven at 200°C
Beat the whites until stiff and add the sugar gradually, beating until stiff peaks form but not too dry. Reserve
Sift the flour with the chocolate through a sieve
Beat the yolks slightly and add 4 tablespoons of the flour and chocolate mixture, mixing well
Add half of the stiff egg whites to the mixture and mix carefully
Gradually add the remaining flour and chocolate mixture, mixing with care, and finish by adding the other half of the stiff egg whites
Mix until smooth
Pour the mixture into a baking dish and bake
Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the mixture is firm when touched and does not leave an imprint
Remove from oven, loosen the edges with a spatula, and flip onto a clean and dry cloth
Spread sweetened condensed milk over the surface and roll up using the cloth
If using whipped cream as filling, let the mixture cool first and then fill and roll
