Melt the pineapple with water over moderate heat, stirring constantly. Reserve
Brush the bread slices with melted butter
Place them in a baking dish and bake until golden brown on both sides
Cut the bread into cubes
Assemble the dessert: on a round plate, 24cm in diameter and 4cm deep, create alternating layers of bread cubes, pineapple, and ricotta cheese
Serve immediately so that the bread does not lose its crunchy texture.
