1/4 cup of cold water
one cup of hot water
half a cup of mayonnaise
one tablespoon of mustard
two tablespoons of vinegar
1/4 cup of pickle relish
one tablespoon of finely chopped onion
two cups of cooked and cubed pork tongue
1 1/2 cups of salted and cubed beef tongue
two tablespoons of finely chopped bell pepper
salt and pepper
curly endive for garnishing

Soak the gelatin in cold water
Dissolve it in hot water
Place in the refrigerator until slightly set
Mix together the mayonnaise, mustard, and vinegar
Add to the gelatin mixture
Add the pickle relish, onion, pork tongue, beef tongue, and bell pepper
Season to taste
Place in a 2-liter container
Refrigerate until firm
Unmold and garnish with curly endive and grated carrot
