First variation: Spread mayonnaise mixed with pickled relish on whole wheat bread slices, then cover with quickly cooked Frankfurt-style sausages
Garnish each sausage slice with a pickle
Second variation: Spread butter or margarine mixed with mustard on whole wheat bread slices
Quickly fry the Frankfurt-style sausages in a little olive oil and place them open in two parts, on the bread slices, along with tomato and cucumber slices
Sprinkle with a pinch of salt and pepper
