6 sausages
1 tablespoon of butter or margarine
4 medium-sized potatoes, peeled and cut into fine slices
1 medium-sized onion, peeled and cut into fine slices
3 tablespoons of all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon of salt
black pepper to taste
2 cups of hot milk
1 tablespoon of margarine
6 sausages

About 1 hour before serving, preheat the oven
Cut the sausages into slices and fry them in 1 tablespoon of margarine until they're done
Take a refrigerator-safe mold or a small aluminum plate
Layer some potatoes and sausage at the bottom of the mold
Cover with a bit of chopped onion
Sprinkle with some flour, salt, and black pepper
Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used up
Mix the milk with 1 tablespoon of margarine and pour it over the ingredients in the mold
Put the mold in the oven for 30 to 40 minutes
Let it sit for 5 minutes
Poke the potatoes with a fork
If they're tender, the dish is ready.
