Heat the heavy cream with the confectioners' sugar, whisking until warm and smooth
Tire from heat, add the chocolate, and mix until melted and smooth
Add the bourbon and vanilla extract
Set aside
Dough
Preheat oven to medium temperature
Butter a baking dish and sprinkle with flour
In a bowl, combine three tablespoons of confectioners' sugar, yeast, flour, butter, and salt
Mix until smooth
Gradually add the milk, lemon juice, and chocolate chips, whisking until combined
Pour into the prepared baking dish, pressing gently
Brush with heavy cream and sprinkle with confectioners' sugar remaining
Bake for 25 minutes
Filling
Hull the strawberries
Place them in a bowl with four tablespoons of confectioners' sugar
Mix and let stand for 30 minutes
Beat the heavy cream, vanilla extract, and confectioners' sugar until stiff peaks form
Set aside
Unmold the cake
Cut seven slices with a cookie cutter
Separate them in half and fill with strawberries and whipped cream
Serve with chocolate sauce on top.
