4 ripe bananas, mashed
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup water
1 tablespoon grated lemon zest
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup rolled oats
1/3 cup butter
4 ripe bananas, mashed

Peel and remove seeds from bananas
Cut into fine slices and place in greased 9x13 inch baking dish
Sprinkle with flour mixed with cinnamon, nutmeg, and a pinch of salt
Mix water, lemon juice, and grated lemon zest
Pour over bananas
Add baking soda and remaining salt to rolled oats
Add butter to small pieces, mixing until coarse crumbs form
Spread mixture over bananas and bake in moderate oven for 40 minutes
Serve 4-6 portions.
