Combine the heavy cream and milk in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Reserve
In a bowl, mix together the unsweetened cocoa powder and granulated sugar
Add the chocolate liqueur or coffee and whisk vigorously
Add the egg mixture and stir well
Preheat the oven to medium temperature
Pour the mixture into the muffin tin liners and place in the oven with hot water
Bake until a toothpick inserted comes out clean
Let cool, then unmold and serve chilled.
