Preheat the oven to a moderate temperature (180°C)
Butter a 30x23cm refractory mold
Line the bottom with pear slices
In a food processor, combine butter or margarine, flour, nuts, confectioner's sugar, lemon zest, and cinnamon; pulse 5 times until you get a granular consistency
Sprinkle over the pears
Soak with whiskey
Bake for about 20 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and crispy
Serve with whipped cream or ice cream if desired, and cut into 12 slices.
