2 cups cooked soybean beans
2 cups scoured green corn
1 cup Minas cheese cut into small pieces
4 peeled and chopped tomatoes

1 cup breadcrumbs passed in butter or margarine

Layer alternating portions of soybean beans, green corn, Minas cheese, and scoured tomato in a baking dish greased with butter or margarine
Season the tomato juice that drains from the tomatoes with salt and pepper and pour it over the top
Sprinkle with breadcrumbs passed in butter or margarine and bake in a moderate oven for about 30 minutes or until the breadcrumbs are golden brown
(Instead of breadcrumbs, you can also use fresh bread crumbs.)
