Place the flour in a bowl
Make a depression in the center and add the yeast, a little warm milk, sugar, and butter or margarine
Mix with your fingers, not including the remaining flour
Let it rest for 30 minutes
Add the remaining ingredients and enough milk to obtain a soft dough
Beat with a wooden spoon until the dough rises with bubbles
Remove small portions of dough with a spoon
Shape into balls and place on a floured surface
Brush with egg wash
Let it rest for 15 minutes
Dip your fingers in oil and press the dough in the center to obtain a thick border and a fine center
Fry carefully in hot oil, soaking once or twice with oil using a shell to help them grow well
When they are golden brown on the bottom, turn carefully without leaving oil in the middle (to make it clearer in the center)
Drain well and sprinkle with sugar
