1 cup of white and leafy parts of sausage, finely chopped

2 cups of chicken broth (use tablets)
1 3/4 cups of milk
Salt and pepper to taste

Cook the onion and sausage in the broth until they're tender
Purée with a liquidizer
Add milk and season to taste
Heat slowly
If desired, thicken with a little cornstarch dissolved in milk
