In a pot, fry the garlic in butter until golden brown
Add the potatoes, salt, and water, cover the pot, and cook until they become soft
Add the sour cream and cook for 1 minute
Remove from heat and blend everything, gradually, in a blender
Return to the pot, reheat, and serve with croutons on the side
