Combine all ingredients, except milk or cream, in a blender
Blend until smooth and creamy
Pour the mixture into a 1.5-liter pot and add the milk or cream
Mix everything well, then bring to a simmer while stirring frequently
Serve hot (for 8 people, double the recipe).
