1 In a medium saucepan, combine the olive oil and smoked linguiça, sliced
Simmer over high heat, stirring occasionally with a wooden spoon for 5 minutes or until the linguiça is golden brown
Add in the water and let it come to a boil
2 Add in the green beans, funghini macaroni, salt, and stir
Let it simmer again
Cover the saucepan and cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the macaroni is tender
Add in the chopped parsley and stir
Transfer to a soup bowl and serve with toasted bread, drizzled with olive oil and garlic.
