1 separated broccoli head, broken into florets
1 tablespoon butter or margarine
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 cup milk
1 chicken bouillon cube or 1 teaspoon granulated bouillon powder
Salt and pepper to taste

Cook the broccoli with the bouillon cube
Drain and reserve the liquid
Melt the butter or margarine
Combine with flour and mix well
Add to blender, along with broccoli
Taste and adjust seasoning
Blend thoroughly
Adequate water and serve
