3 cups of water
1 cup of cream
1/2 cup of red wine
1/4 cup of chopped onion
1 tablespoon of vinegar
1 teaspoon of marjoram
1 teaspoon of butter
1/2 kilogram of lentils
5 slices of crumbled bacon
1 bay leaf
1 beef bouillon cube
Salt and black pepper to taste

Step 1: Cook the lentils and strain them
Set aside
Step 2: Fry the bacon in a pan with butter and onion
Set aside
Step 3: Bring a pot of water, red wine, beef bouillon cube, and lentils to a boil
Stir until dissolved
Remove from heat and add cream
Season with vinegar, bay leaf, marjoram, black pepper, and salt
As it cools, serve with dollops of cream.
