'4 slices of bacon, cut into fine strips'
'1 large onion, cut into thin rings'
'0.5 kg of potatoes, peeled and cut into small cubes'
'4 cups of milk'
'2 cups of cooked green corn or 1 can of green corn'

1/4 teaspoon of thyme

Fry the bacon until it's crispy
Drain the bacon pieces and reserve
In the same pan, fry the onion and potatoes for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they're tender
Heat the milk to a simmer
Add the cooked green corn, onion, potatoes, salt, pepper, and thyme
Simmer for 5 minutes, then remove from heat and let rest for 1 hour
Before serving, reheat and garnish with the crispy bacon pieces
Serves 6.
