Cook the beans and discard the liquid (use the broth to prepare a soup)
Preheat the oven to moderate temperature (180ΒΊ)
Blend the cheese, beans, onion, salt, and pepper in a meat grinder or processor
Place it in a bowl and add the breadcrumbs, egg, and butter
Mix well
Bake in a ring mold of 18 cm diameter greased for about 45 minutes
Unmold and serve with tomato sauce if desired
