In a large frying pan, cook the onion in butter or margarine for a few minutes; add the damsons, bouillon cube, and water
Bring to a boil, stirring the bouillon cube until it dissolves
Add the bread cubes and nuts; stir until everything is well coated
Serve with a large chicken
