2 cups of water
2 cups of sugar
1 tablespoon of corn syrup
1 cup of raspberry puree
2 tablespoons of lemon juice
2 cups of water
2 cups of sugar
1 tablespoon of corn syrup
1 cup of raspberry puree
2 tablespoons of lemon juice
Make a simple syrup with the water, sugar, and corn syrup
Bring to a boil over low heat and simmer for 4 minutes
Let it cool completely
Make a puree with the raspberries and strain through a fine-mesh sieve to remove excess seeds
Combine the fruit puree with the simple syrup and lemon juice
Churn in an ice cream maker until desired consistency is reached
This usually takes about 20 minutes
If you don't have an ice cream maker, place the mixture in a plastic container in the freezer for 2 hours., then beat it with a whisk to add air to the mixture
Repeat this process one or two more times
The more you beat it, the creamier it will become.
